The singer recently canceled his engagement to American model Maya Henry and also revealed that he is not able to perform basic everyday tasks and that he still "feels like a child" despite having $ 500 million in his account.

Liam admitted that during his engagement in the band One Direction, he struggled with addiction and mental health problems that he had kept secret until now.

- At that time, several photos of me on a yacht came to light, on which I was all bloated and my face read that I was addicted. My face was ten times bigger than it is now. The problem was that the best way to make sure we didn't do something stupid was to lock us in rooms, and what's in the room? Mini-bar - says the musician.

He also struggled with mental health problems, and when asked about suicidal thoughts, Liam admitted: - Yes. There are definitely some things I’ve never talked about. It was really, really hard.

Liam was only 16 years old when he joined the band One Direction and admitted that because of the fame he experienced that all the basic things for him were done by other people, so he still feels incompetent today.

- I still feel like a child in so many ways. There is no connection between money and happiness. It's a myth. Money only carries the ability to relax in certain things because others do a lot for you. I can't do the simplest things for myself because people who help me have always done it.

The musician then discovered that during the quarantine he returned to bad habits and relied on alcohol, which led him to gain weight.

- If you use Zoom to perform tasks around work, you will probably get away with it if you are a little drunk and those you talk to have no chance of noticing it, and I abused this. At the same time, I gained so much weight, I ate badly, and I told others that I was doing it on purpose because I was preparing for a film role, that was the simplest excuse for me - Liam admitted.
