The Peppers announced the tour with a silly video in which Frusciante is a guest of the TV news parody, in which singer Anthony and bassist Flea are presenters, while drummer Chad Smith is in charge of the weather forecast.

The first question for the new-old Peppers guitarist was whether the "hot peppers" are planning concerts in the near future, to which Frusciante answered that the world tour will start in June 2022 and that the first concerts in the United States will be held in July.
Although the tour dates, sales information, support acts, and other details are not yet available, the band seem very excited to share their comeback in the video they published.
